As the Sharad (Autumn) Season arrives, it brings a welcome shift from the intense summer heat and the dampness of the monsoon in India. Indians both at home and abroad immerse themselves in a lively festive ambiance. A variety of festivals, such as Dussehra and Durga Puja, among others, become focal points across different cultures and regions, all echoing a universal theme - 'The Triumph of Good over Evil’.
The Eastern region of India traditionally celebrates Durga Puja. This festival, known as "Sharod Utsav" or "Durgotsav", has evolved into a global celebration among Indians worldwide and is also celebrated as 'Navratri' in northern and Hindi-speaking regions.
